Jenny Han is an executive producer, showrunner, and #1 New York Times bestselling author of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series and The Summer I Turned Pretty series. Her books have been published in more than thirty languages.
She is the creator and co-showrunner of The Summer I Turned Pretty series, which premiered in 2022. Starring Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, and Gavin Casalegno, the first season of The Summer I Turned Pretty became the number one show on Amazon Prime Video in its premiere weekend. Season Two followed in 2023 and more than doubled the viewership of its predecessor within the first three days. Season Three, which marked her directorial debut, premiered in July 2025. It drew 25 million viewers in its first 7 days and reached #1 in over 120 countries.
She served as an executive producer on the To All the Boys film trilogy on Netflix, starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo. The first film, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, became one of Netflix’s most-viewed original films when it premiered in 2018. It was followed by To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You in 2020 and To All the Boys: Always and Forever in 2021. Han is also the creator and executive producer of the XO Kitty series, a To All the Boys spin-off that stars Anna Cathcart, now in its third season on Netflix.
In 2022, she signed an overall television and film deal with Amazon Studios. She develops and produces projects for the studio via her production banner, Jenny Kissed Me.
