WILL LIU
Will Liu is the President of Global Business Solutions and Monetization Products at TikTok, where he leads a multidisciplinary organization spanning product, engineering, sales, marketing, and more. He is driving TikTok’s global monetization strategy by bridging cutting-edge technology with business innovation to help brands connect authentically with the platform’s diverse, highly engaged audience.
Prior to TikTok, Will built and scaled the monetization engine at ByteDance and also initiated the Applied Machine Learning (AML) organization to establish the company’s foundational recommendation systems. Earlier in his career, he worked at the forefront of artificial intelligence—contributing to neural machine translation, recommendation systems, healthcare research, and deep learning for ads at Google Brain—and led large-scale machine learning initiatives at Yahoo! and Tencent.
With a unique combination of deep technical expertise and strategic vision, Will is shaping the future of advertising, one powered by automation, measurable outcomes, and creative expression. Splitting his time between Singapore and San Jose, he stays closely connected to global innovation and the rapidly evolving landscape of international business.
SANDEEP GROVER
Sandeep is Global Head of Trust and Safety at TikTok, where his mission is to make TikTok the most trusted platform in the world. He and his team lead the development and enforcement of platform-wide safety policies, balancing harm prevention with freedom of expression. His organization oversees Trust & Safety and Customer Support operations across more than 150 markets, serving a platform with over a billion people worldwide.
Before joining TikTok, Sandeep spent more than two decades at YouTube, Amazon, and a number of early stage companies, building systems and products designed to create safer, more trustworthy experiences for consumers and small businesses at scale.
Sandeep holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. He lives in California with his wife and two sons. Outside of work, his interests in artificial intelligence, chess, and Indian cooking are faithfully reflected in his TikTok For You feed.
FIONA (YING) ZHI
Fiona (Ying) Zhi is TikTok’s Head of Product, where she leads the teams responsible for creating a positive user experience and growing the TikTok community. Fiona was part of the original team that built and launched TikTok in 2017.
Prior to TikTok, Fiona was the Vice President at Douyin and focused on product growth and creator experiences. She also led the Douyin content product team and launched the new product Soda Music.
Before joining Douyin, Fiona held roles at Uber focused on expanding to new markets and driving business growth.
