​Maer Roshan is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Hollywood Reporter, bringing decades of editorial innovation and leadership to one of entertainment’s most influential publications. Before joining THR in 2023, he served as Editor-in-Chief of Los Angeles Magazine, where he revitalized the brand with bold storytelling and cultural relevance. Roshan has held senior editorial roles at New York Magazine, Interview, and Talk, and is known for launching groundbreaking media ventures including Radar, TheFix.com, and Punch!, which have earned him industry acclaim. His journalism career began after graduating from NYU, and he has since written for outlets such as The New York Times, The New Republic, and Harper’s Bazaar. Born in Tehran and raised in New York, Roshan brings a global perspective and sharp editorial vision to his work, consistently shaping the conversation around culture, media, and identity.
