Niharika (Niha) Elety is a climate activist and fashion designer who uses fashion, photography, and art to bring awareness to sustainability and its connection to cultural heritage. Niha is also the founder and CEO of fashion brand, Tega Collective, a sustainable fashion enterprise that champions Adivasi (indigenous) communities in India and promotes regenerative agriculture. Passionate about the intersection of culture, climate, and couture, Niha collaborates with artisan communities to create exquisite, eco-conscious textiles that honor tradition while protecting the planet.
Since 2015, Niha has gathered 50,000 followers across her social media platforms and has worked with organizations like the United Nations, Remake, Slow Factory, EPA, and a range of independent fashion labels. Featured on Vogue, Elle, The Voice of Fashion, and Global Fashion Summit, Niha remains committed to amplifying BIPOC perspectives and speaking at fashion summits, universities, conferences, podcasts, and youth organizations.
As a Gold Green Grant finalist, Niha is on a mission to scale Tega Collective’s impact bringing visibility to artisan-made fashion, innovating with sustainable materials, and proving that fashion can be both ethical and elegant.
