Bruno Mars is a multi-Grammy-winning American singer, songwriter, and performer known for his versatile musicality and high-energy stage presence. Born Peter Gene Hernandez on October 8, 1985, in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was raised in a family of musicians and began his career as a child Elvis impersonator. After moving to Los Angeles in 2003, he initially found success as a songwriter and producer before skyrocketing to solo stardom with his 2010 debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans.

Over the next decade, Mars solidified his status as a global pop icon through a string of massive hits like “Uptown Funk,” “Just the Way You Are,” and “That’s What I Like.” His career is marked by a deep appreciation for retro genres, blending funk, soul, R&B, and rock with modern pop sensibilities. In 2021, he further expanded his artistic legacy by forming the soul duo Silk Sonic with Anderson .Paak, winning multiple Grammys for their hit single “Leave the Door Open.”

By 2026, Mars has entered a new chapter of his career with the release of his fourth solo studio album, “The Romantic.” The project debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, supported by the chart-topping lead single “I Just Might.” This era has also been defined by major collaborations, including the global viral hit “APT.” with Rosé of Blackpink and the Grammy-winning duet “Die With a Smile” with Lady Gaga. Currently, he is headlining The Romantic Tour, which features a record-breaking residency at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium and continues to showcase his reputation as one of the finest live entertainers of his generation.
