Ashley Park
Ashley Park is an American actress, dancer, and singer who is best known for her portrayal of Mindy Chen on Netflix comedy series Emily in Paris, and for originating the role of Gretchen Wieners in the 2018 Tony Award-nominated musical Mean Girls. She has received several awards including nominations for a Tony Award and a Grammy Award.
Sherry Cola
Named “One to Watch” by People Magazine and “11 Asian American Comics Who Need to Be on Your Radar” by Entertainment Weekly, Sherry Cola is taking the world by storm. She currently stars as Alice in Freeform’s hit series “Good Trouble” which airs Season 5 this March. In film, Sherry stars in Randall Park’s dramedy “Shortcomings” alongside Justin H. Min, which made a big splash at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. This summer, Sherry will also star in Adele Lim’s R-rated Lionsgate comedy “Joy Ride” with Ashley Park, Stephanie Hsu, and Sabrina Wu. The film, produced by Seth Rogan, follows four friends who travel through Asia in search of one of their birth mothers – set to release on June 23. Sherry has also finished production on “Sick Girl” with Nina Dobrev, and will appear in Netflix’s upcoming Nicole Kidman/Zac Efron rom-com “A Family Affair” opposite Joey King, streaming this November. In animation, Sherry will voice a main character in Paramount’s “The Tiger’s Apprentice” opposite Henry Golding, Michelle Yeoh, and Sandra Oh. Other animation credits include Disney/Pixar’s “Turning Red,” and Nickelodeon series “Transformers” and “Baby Shark.” In addition to her time on set and on stage as a stand-up comedian, Sherry has done work with the ACLU and the National Women’s Law Center (Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund) for AAPI Equal Pay Day, to discuss the inequalities that exist within her Asian and LGBTQ+ communities.
Stephanie Hsu
Stephanie Hsu can be seen in the A24 Oscar winning and BAFTA nominated film “Everything Everywhere All At Once” from the directing team Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert). Stephanie stars in the dual role ‘Joy/Jobu.’ The story follows the mother/daughter relationship through a multiverse with infinite versions of their lives also starring Michelle Yeoh, Key Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis. The film debuted at SXSW and released in theaters April 2022 to rave reviews. The film has reached box office records for an indie arthouse film crossing the $100 million mark in global ticket sales, the first A24 film to hit that benchmark. Stephanie earned individual Oscar and SAG Award nominations in the category of Best Supporting Actress. She won the Best Breakthrough Performance at the 2023 Film Independent Spirit Awards and has been honored at the Hamptons Film Festival as their Breakthrough Artist honoree, the Middleburg Film Festival as their Rising Star honoree, the Newport Film Festival as one of Variety’s 10 Actors to Watch, the San Francisco Film Festival with The George Gund III Award for Breakthrough Performance and at the Santa Barbara Film Festival as one of their Virtuosos honorees. The film won a Gotham Award and Critics’ Choice Award for Best Feature, a SAG Award for Cast in a Motion Picture and has been recognized as AFI’s Movie of the Year. Sabrina Wu
Sabrina Wu is an American writer, comedian, and actor. They were a staff writer for the Disney+ series Doogie Kameāloha, M.D. Wu acts in a lead role in the upcoming Adele Lim film Joy Ride. They were named one of 2022 Just for Laughs New Face of Comedy.
Adele Lim
Adele is a Writer-Director whose screenwriting credits include Crazy Rich Asians (Warner Bros) and Oscar-nominated Raya and the Last Dragon (Disney Animation Studios). A Malaysian native of Chinese descent, she came to the States at 19 and graduated from Emerson College, Boston. She has written and produced multiple primetime network TV dramas, including One Tree Hill (The CW), Private Practice (ABC) and Lethal Weapon (FOX), and was co-showrunner and Executive Producer of Starcrossed (The CW). She mentors emerging writers through the WGA (Writers Guild of America) and CAPE (Coalition of Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders in Entertainment) to promote equity and representation in entertainment. In 2021 she made her feature directorial debut with Joy Ride for Lionsgate Films and Seth Rogen’s Point Grey productions (world premiere at SXSW, opening summer 2023).
