Your Role

As a Social Media & Community Manager, you’ll lead Gold House’s social media channels, distilling our innovative programs, exciting events, and impactful initiatives to the wider community.  You’ll primarily be responsible for managing and growing Gold House’s reach and engagement across all social media channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter. Externally, you’ll be a virtual brand ambassador, engaging with the public on Gold House’s behalf. Internally, you’ll be a project manager and advocate for our social media content and channels. You’ll play a crucial role in Gold House’s meteoric growth, ensuring that the impact of our work is seen and felt. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, publish and share new content on a daily basis that represents the brand’s mission and personality and encourages community engagement
  • Grow audience, reach, and engagement across social platforms
  • Engage with the Gold House community on all social media platforms
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Attend screenings, launches, and other Gold House events to capture social media content
  • Collaborate and partner with different stakeholders on execution of social in conjunction with marketing plans and product releases
  • Capture, analyze, and report on social data and metrics for various social media campaigns
  • Test and evaluate new social media platforms

A bit about you

  • 2-4 years of social media management experience
  • Video editing and digital design skills preferred
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as, but not limited to, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook
  • Proactive, organized, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Strong project management with demonstrated ability to hit deadlines
  • Collaborative and enthusiastic about working cross-functionally
  • Fluency with Figma, Adobe InDesign, and/or Photoshop preferred
  • Passionate about Gold House’s mission of uplifting the Asian and Pacific Islander community and excited to evangelize Gold House’s brand to the wider public
