Overview

To promote cultural change, Gold House has partnered with every major studio and platform, hundreds of API creators (e.g., writers, directors, producers, actors, and executives), and hundreds of other non-profits and community organizations to ensure the authenticity and success of API stories. Gold House provides cultural consultation, creates definitive resource guides, uplifts API creators into mainstream culture, and mobilizes nationwide grassroots campaigns.

As the Partner Marketing Manager, you’ll primarily be responsible for overseeing, developing, and executing events and initiatives to mobilize Gold House’s vast network to advance API representation on and off-screen. You’ll provide operational support to Events, Marketing, and Media & Entertainment executives for Gold House’s cultural change work, including spearheading #GoldOpen grassroots marketing campaigns and growing relevant external partnerships. Serving as the point-of-contact for a key portion of Gold House’s network, this role combines the project management chops of a leading tech company program manager with the relationship management flair of a seasoned partnerships lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce, co-host, and/or represent Gold House (in collaboration with the Events, Marketing, and Media & Entertainment teams) at key cultural change events, including #GoldOpen screenings, Gold House industry mixers, Gold List awards campaigns, and external partners’ media and entertainment events.
  • Report on success and efficiency of #GoldOpen campaigns and other events related to Gold House’s entertainment & media efforts. 
  • Develop and execute on strategy to build and nurture Gold House’s leading network dedicated to advancing API representation, including press, influencers, ERGs, film festivals, creators, and community organizations. This includes leading key #GoldOpen campaigns with Gold House’s studio partners and promotional partners, and managing relationships with Gold House’s broader leadership network.     
  • Report on success and efficiency of #GoldOpen campaigns and other events related to Gold House’s entertainment & media efforts.
  • Project manage development of industry-leading external database of API creators, and work with the Gold House Futures team to expand our network of next-gen creatives.

A Bit About You

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in a project management, strategic partnerships, or field marketing role, or have built nurturing environments for creators from scratch. 
  • You can quickly establish credibility with senior executives and scrappy creators alike, and use influence and data to drive projects/partnerships forward. 
  • You operate under pressure in a composed manner and are enthusiastic about managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced rapid-evolving environment.
  • You have extremely high attention to detail and care deeply about ensuring projects are delivered completely and on time — you set expectations and never abandon them and are comfortable holding others to this too. 
  • You communicate like a pro and get energy from bringing people together to execute efficiently and effectively. You enjoy putting structure around processes to make them scalable.
  • You have a “no job is too small” attitude and are excited to roll up your sleeves and solve all types of problems. 
  • And last but not least, you are passionate about Gold House’s purpose and share our mission of uplifting the API community.
