Awkwafina is a Golden Globe winning actress, writer and musician from Queens, New York. She grew up with her given name, Nora Lum, and has since used her trademark comedic style and signature flair to become a breakout talent in the entertainment industry. Satya Nadella is Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft. Before being named CEO in February 2014, Nadella held leadership roles in both enterprise and consumer businesses across the company.

Abhijay Prakash is President of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG). In this role, he is responsible for driving the Studio’s strategic and long-range planning, while also overseeing the business operations of UFEG including finance, business development and administrative functions. Abhijit Vinayak Banerjee is the Ford Foundation International Professor of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2003 he co-founded the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) with Esther Duflo and Sendhil Mullainathan, and he remains one of the Lab’s Directors. As senior vice president, Content, for Disney+, The Walt Disney Company’s upcoming direct-to-consumer streaming service, Agnes Chu is responsible for commissioning series, feature films, short form content and other high-quality entertainment formats for the service, which launched on November 12, 2019. Alan Yang is a writer, director, and producer. Albert Cheng is Chief Operating Officer and Co-Head of Television at Amazon Studios. Alex Zhu is the CEO of TikTok, the social platform who’s mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy through short-form videos. Alysa Liu is a history maker.

In 2019, she became the youngest U.S. figure skating champion in history at age thirteen. In 2020, she successfully defended her U.S. title with a national scoring record of 235.52. Alysa might be small in stature, but she packs quite a punch. The phenom from Richmond, California became the first American woman to land three triple axel jumps at the 2019 U.S. Championships in Detroit. At the 2020 U.S. Championships in Greensboro, Alysa became the first female skater to win back-to-back titles since 2013, where she was also the first U.S. female to land a quadruple lutz jump.

Alysa started skating when she was five years old. She quickly rose through the skating ranks, claiming the national intermediate title, placing fourth at the novice level and then winning the junior crown at the age of 12.

In August 2019, Alysa made her junior international competitive debut with a Grand Prix victory in Lake Placid. She became the first American woman to land a quad lutz in competition. Parasite is the seventh feature film from the acclaimed Bong Joon Ho, following on from Barking Dogs Never Bite (2000), Memories of Murder (2003), The Host (2006), Mother (2009), Snowpiercer (2013), and Okja (2017). The modern-day classic Memories of Murder delves into the investigation behind a well-known serial murder case that was never solved, depicting the authoritarian era of the time with satire and sharp insight. The Host takes as its basis the abduction of a young girl by a strange creature that crawls out of the Han River, turning the monster movie genre on its head while also issuing stinging social commentary. Mother, the story of a woman trying to protect her son from a murder charge, is a dark portrait of motherly love taken to the extreme, while the sci-fi film Snowpiercer portrays the last remnants of humanity in a future world that has been frozen over due to mankind’s overdone efforts to fix global warming. Known for his cutting, socially incisive wit and twisting of genre conventions, Bong Joon Ho has continually raised questions about social institutions and the inequities of society with his unique blend of humor, emotion and suspense. In this sense, Parasite is both highly characteristic of Bong Joon Ho’s work, while at the same time evolving to a new level.

Bowen Yang is a comedian, writer, and actor based in Brooklyn, NY. In addition to hosting LAS CULTURISTAS with Matt Rogers, he is currently a featured player on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, where he wrote for one season before moving on-screen. Cathy Yan is a filmmaker known for her distinct aesthetic, darkly humorous tone and love for subverting typical genre rules and telling unconventional stories. Her debut film, DEAD PIGS, which she wrote and directed, won the Special Jury Prize for ensemble acting at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, among several other accolades. The film, which is set in Shanghai, came to fruition after she read a news story about 16,000 dead pigs mysteriously floating down the Huangpu River.

Yan will also co-write the script for the film along with Zhang. The film will be an autobiographical coming-of-age story about the immigrant experience from the point of view of a young girl whose parents relocate from Shanghai to New York in the ’90s.

David Chang is the chef and founder of Momofuku, which includes restaurants in New York City, Washington DC, Sydney, Toronto, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, a casual chicken concept (Fuku), and a bakery (Milk Bar) established by award-winning pastry chef Christina Tosi with multiple locations.

Since opening Noodle Bar in 2004, David has been honored with five James Beard Foundation Awards (Rising Star Chef of the Year, Best Chef New York City, Best New Restaurant – Momofuku Ko, Outstanding Chef, Who’s Who of Food and Beverage). Dev Patel is a British actor. He began his career playing Anwar Kharral in the E4 teen drama Skins (2007). Patel’s career expanded with leading roles in the comedy-dramas The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2011) and The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2015), the science fiction thriller Chappie (2015), and a supporting role in the HBO series The Newsroom (2012–2014). For his performance as Saroo Brierley in the drama Lion (2016), Patel won the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He subsequently starred in the independent films Hotel Mumbai (2018), The Personal History of David Copperfield (2019) and The Green Knight (2021), and made his directorial debut with the action film Monkey Man (2024).

Eva Noblezada was nominated for a Tony Award this past year for starring on Broadway in Hadestown. Diane Paragas is an award-winning writer/director, editor, cinematographer and producer of narrative features, documentaries and commercials.

In 2019, Paragas completed her debut narrative feature, Yellow Rose, about an undocumented Filipino-American teen pursuing a dream to become a country music singer. The film won over a dozen Grand Jury and Audience Awards. Yellow Rose is the first Filipino-American film to be distributed by a major Hollywood studio and will be released by Sony Pictures in the near future.

Paragas is currently in pre-production for a bold feature documentary about a wrongfully convicted illegal immigrant called “The Three Lives of David Wong” that uses puppetry to tell its story. Paragas is also developing The Lizard Garden, a magical realism film set in Japanese occupied Manila during WWII.

It’s impossible to champion just one person across the legions of Asians working as First Responders–from nurses to ICU doctors to food delivery workers to Congresspeople. Among the many, Dr. David D. Ho is one who gives us hope. Dr. Ho. is the founding Scientific Director of the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center, as well as the Clyde and Helen Wu Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. He has been at the forefront of AIDS research since the beginning of the epidemic.

His elegant studies in the mid 1990’s unveiled the dynamic nature of HIV replication in vivo and revolutionized our basic understanding of this horrific disease. This knowledge led Dr. Ho to champion combination antiretroviral therapy that resulted in unprecedented control of HIV in patients since 1996. AIDS mortality in richer nations has declined dramatically, and a massive international effort is now underway to bring such life- saving treatment to millions in the developing world. To date over 10 million patients have benefitted from combination antiretroviral therapy. Dr. Ho has been a major driving force behind this major medical breakthrough in what is arguably the worst plague in human history.

For his accomplishments, Dr. Ho has been recognized in multiple ways, including fourteen honorary doctorates and election to the National Academy of Medicine (formerly the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences). He was named Time Magazine’s Man of the Year in 1996, and was the recipient of a Presidential Medal from Bill Clinton in 2001.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta is the multiple Emmy-award winning chief medical correspondent for CNN. Gupta, a practicing neurosurgeon, plays an integral role in CNN’s reporting on health and medical news for all of CNN’s shows domestically and internationally, and regularly contributes to CNN.com.

Since 2001, Gupta has covered some of the most important health stories in the United States and around the world. Just weeks after Gupta started at CNN, he reported from New York following the 9/11 terror attacks. That fall, he broke several stories regarding the anthrax attacks.

Eric Yuan decided to come to the U.S. in the mid ’90’s because of the Internet, which he knew was the wave of the future. The first time he applied for a U.S. visa, he was rejected. He continued to apply again and again over the course of two years and finally received his visa on the ninth try.

He then arrived in Silicon Valley in 1997 and joined WebEx, which at the time was a real-time collaboration company with about a dozen employees. In 2007 WebEx was acquired by Cisco and he became Cisco’s Corporate VP of engineering, in charge of collaboration software. Eric often met with customers, and in his conversations with them learned they weren’t happy with the current collaboration solutions, including WebEx.

He firmly believed that he could develop a platform that would make customers happy, so in June of 2011, he decided it was time to venture off on his own. Eric first envisioned Zoom when he was a freshman in college in China and regularly took a ten-hour train ride to visit his girlfriend (who is now his wife). He detested those rides and used to imagine other ways that he could visit his girlfriend without traveling — those daydreams eventually became the basis for Zoom.

More than 40 fellow engineers followed him in this new venture and together, they launched the Zoom platform in 2012. Seven years later in 2019, the company went public and did $622 million in revenue.

With his appointment as Chief Operating Officer of Island Records, Eric Wong took the reins of one of the world’s most celebrated labels. He oversees operations, strategy, and marketing for Island’s entire roster, which currently includes such superstars as Shawn Mendes, Bon Jovi, The Killers, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Elton John, Jessie Reyez and Fall Out Boy. Wong was promoted to this position in 2018 after spending four years as the label’s Executive Vice-President/General Manager, leading the way in shaping a new identity for the company during a time of rapid evolution in the music industry.

Born in New York City, Wong grew up obsessed with music, and at age 16, went from devotedly studying the sales charts each week to an internship while still in high school. A summer internship position at WEA Distribution (through Y.E.S., a program for minority high school students) led to yet another internship at Atlantic Records. While attending New York University, Wong became a college rep for EMI Records. In 1997, while still at school, he was hired at V2 Records, where he was eventually promoted to product manager, overseeing artists such as Moby, Underworld, and Stereophonics.

In 1999, Wong joined the Island Def Jam Music group. As Vice President of Marketing, Wong developed campaigns for a diverse group of acts which included Bon Jovi, Fall Out Boy, Rihanna, Slayer, Sum 41, Christina Milian and more. In 2006, he went to work for Bad Boy Entertainment and Atlantic Records, serving simultaneously as Chief Marketing Officer of Bad Boy and Senior Vice President of Marketing at Atlantic. In this dual role, he was able to get more deeply involved in hip-hop—and study the branding and product extensions pioneered by Bad Boy’s Sean “Diddy” Combs—while keeping a hand in the rock and pop he also loved.

Wong points to the opportunity to work on Jay-Z’s landmark 2009 album The Blueprint 3 as a defining moment in his career, working alongside one of the greatest marketers and one of the greatest artists in hip-hop history. Seeking additional challenges, in 2009, he founded Wong Management, where he worked closely with Mariah Carey.

In 2011, he returned to the Island Def Jam Music Group as Executive Vice President of Marketing, executing creative marketing strategies for artists including Kanye West, Rihanna, Avicii, The-Dream, Fall Out Boy, The Killers, Toni Braxton, Babyface and others. Hasan Minhaj is the host and creator of the weekly comedy show Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj that premiered on Netflix in October 2018. It was the first contemporary studio picture in more than 25 years to feature an all-Asian cast, and it represents a new chapter in Chu’s 10-year career.

Chu most recently served as an executive producer and director on “Home Before Dark,” for Apple, which premiered April 3, 2020. The series was inspired by the true story of 11-year-old investigative reporter Hilde Lysiak and stars Jim Sturgess and Brooklyn Prince.

Upcoming, Chu helmed his most ambitious project to date, the highly anticipated adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony Award-winning musical “In the Heights” for Warner Bros. Studios.

Chu’s previous credits include “Step Up 2: The Streets,” “GI. Joe: Retaliation,” “Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never” and many more representing over 1.3 billion dollars in the worldwide box office. Additionally, his unique storytelling ability has earned him the honor of being on the Hollywood Reporter’s Power 100 list as well as Variety’s New Hollywood Leaders.

Joe Tsai is a co-founder and executive vice chairman of Alibaba Group, a global Internet technology company based in China. His career at Alibaba spans over 20 years, during which he was the company’s chief financial officer and oversaw strategic investments. He is a founding member of Alibaba Partnership.

Tsai is Governor of the Brooklyn Nets (NBA) and New York Liberty (WNBA), and is Chairman of the teams’ home arena Barclays Center. He owns the San Diego Seals, a professional indoor lacrosse team in the National Lacrosse League and has investments in the Premier Lacrosse League and Los Angeles FC of Major League Soccer.

Tsai played high school football and lacrosse at The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey. He was a member of the varsity lacrosse team at Yale and has been a consistent supporter of the Yale men’s and women’s lacrosse programs. Yale won the NCAA Division I Men’s Lacrosse National Championship in 2018 and played in the Championship Final in 2019. In 2017, Tsai received the George H.W. Bush ‘48 Lifetime of Leadership Award from Yale University.

Prior to founding Alibaba Group, Tsai was a private equity investor with Investor AB of Sweden’s Wallenberg family. He is a graduate of Yale College (BA ’86) and Yale Law School (JD ’90), and practiced tax law as an associate with Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York from 1990 to 1993.

Justin Chang has been a film critic for the Los Angeles Times since 2016 and also reviews movies each for NPR’s Fresh Air. He was previously chief film critic at Variety. He is the author of “FilmCraft: Editing,” a 2011 book of interviews with 17 of the world’s top film editors. He has twice been named film critic of the year at the Los Angeles Press Club’s National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Awards, and in 2014 he received the inaugural Roger Ebert Award from the African-American Film Critics Association. Chang serves as chair of the National Society of Film Critics and secretary of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association. He holds a degree in journalism from the University of Southern California.

In 2017, Kamala D. Harris was sworn in as a United States Senator for California, the second African-American woman and first South Asian-American senator in history. She serves on the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, the Select Committee on Intelligence, the Committee on Environment and Public Works, and the Committee on the Budget.

Kamala has spent her life fighting injustice. It’s a passion that was first inspired by her mother, Shyamala, an Indian-American immigrant, activist, and breast cancer researcher. Growing up in Oakland, Kamala had a stroller-eye view of the Civil Rights movement. Through the example of courageous leaders like Thurgood Marshall, Constance Baker Motley, and Charles Hamilton Houston, Kamala learned the kind of character it requires to stand up to the powerful, and resolved to spend her life advocating for those who could not defend themselves.

After earning an undergraduate degree from Howard University and a law degree from the University of California, Hastings, she began her career in the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office. In 2003, Kamala became the District Attorney of the City and County of San Francisco. Among her achievements as District Attorney, Harris started a program that gives first-time drug offenders the chance to earn a high school diploma and find employment.

Having completed two terms as the District Attorney of San Francisco, Kamala was elected as the first African-American and first woman to serve as California’s Attorney General. In this role, she worked tirelessly to hold corporations accountable and protect the state’s most vulnerable people. Over the course of her nearly two terms in office, Kamala won a $25-billion settlement for California homeowners hit by the foreclosure crisis, defended California’s landmark climate change law, protected the Affordable Care Act, helped win marriage equality for all Californians, and prosecuted transnational gangs that trafficked in guns, drugs, and human beings.

In the United States Senate, Kamala’s mission remains unchanged: fighting for the rights of all communities in California. Since taking office, she has introduced and cosponsored legislation to raise wages for working people, reform our broken criminal justice system, make healthcare a right for all Americans, address the epidemic of substance abuse, support veterans and military families, and expand access to childcare for working parents.

Keanu Reeves is a Canadian actor, musician, and comic book writer. Regarded as one of the most influential and acclaimed actors in modern history, he is known for his versatile performances in numerous genres throughout his career.

Born in Beirut and raised in Toronto, he made his acting debut in the Canadian television series “Hangin’ In” (1984), before making his feature film debut in “Youngblood” (1986). Reeves had his breakthrough role in the science fiction comedy “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” (1989), and he reprised his role in its sequels. He gained praise for playing a hustler in the independent drama “My Own Private Idaho” (1991) and established himself as an action hero with leading roles in “Point Break” (1991) and “Speed” (1994).

In 2014, Reeves starred as the titular assassin in the film “John Wick” (2014). Time named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2022.

In addition to acting, Reeves has directed the film Man of Tai Chi (2013). He plays bass guitar for the band Dogstar and pursued other endeavours such as developing the BRZRKR franchise and has participated in philanthropic causes.

Known for his scene stealing abilities, actor, producer, writer and comedian Ken Jeong has established himself as one of today’s top comedic stars. Since his feature film debut playing the doctor in KNOCKED UP in 2007, Jeong has gone on to star in several memorable roles in a series of successful comedies.

Jeong can currently be seen as a judge on the FOX hit celebrity reality singing competition “The Masked Singer”, now in its third season. Prior to that, Ken starred on ABC’s “Dr. Ken”, which he was the creator, writer, and Executive Producer. He also was a series regular on the critically acclaimed NBC show “Community” from 2009-2015, which won the Critics Choice Award for Best Comedy Series in 2012. In 2015, Jeong directed an ESPN 30 for 30 documentary Student Athlete, and he also starred in and produced the Sundance award-winning film ADVANTAGEOUS which received an Independent Spirit Award nomination. Recently, Jeong appeared in the Warner Bros. box office sensation CRAZY RICH ASIANS which grossed over $150 million worldwide and earned multiple nominations including Golden Globes, SAG, and People’s Choice. CRAZY RICH ASIANS earned the “Best Acting Ensemble” award at the National Board of Review awards as well as “Best Comedy” at the Critics’ Choice Awards. In February 2019, Jeong returned to his stand-up roots for his first-ever hit Netflix comedy special, “Ken Jeong: You Complete Me, Ho”, which earned him a People’s Choice nomination for “The Comedy Act of 2019.” Filmed at The Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, California, where Jeong first got his start in comedy, the special reflects on how he went from being a doctor to a comedy superstar.

Jeong has also lent his voice to a plethora of animated films and will soon be heard in the Warner Bros animated Scooby Doo film, SCOOB, and in TOM AND JERRY. Jeong’s career path started off on a different course. He earned his undergraduate degree at Duke University and went on to get his medical degree at the University of North Carolina. Jeong completed his Internal Medicine residency in New Orleans all the while developing his comedy. In 1995, Jeong won the Big Easy Laff Off. The competition, which was judged by former NBC President Brandon Tartikoff and Improv founder Budd Friedman, turned out to be his big break as Tartikoff and Friedman urged Jeong to head to Los Angeles.

Once in Los Angeles, he began performing regularly at the Improv and Laugh Factory and was seen on a number of television shows including “The Office”, “Entourage”, and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” It wasn’t until he caught Judd Apatow’s eye, who cast him as “Dr. Kuni” in KNOCKED UP that he solidified himself as a feature film actor. In 2008, Jeong had his first major role opposite Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott as the villain in David Wain's ROLE MODELS. That same year he also appeared in the cult comedy hits PINEAPPLE EXPRESS and STEP BROTHERS.

In May of 2009, Jeong appeared as the Asian-mobster “Mr. Chow” in the sleeper-hit comedy THE HANGOVER also starring Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis, which earned Jeong an MTV Movie Award in 2010, and in which the film itself won The Golden Globe for Best Comedy/Musical and Critics Choice Award for “Best Comedy” in 2010. The film was the highest-grossing R-rated comedy to date, with over $467 million worldwide, only to be trumped by THEHANGOVER PART II, which grossed $581 million worldwide. Jeong reprised his iconic role in THEHANGOVER PART III.

Jeong dedicates his spare time to volunteering with Stand Up 2 Cancer, which is a cause very dear to his heart. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and twin daughters.

Kim Yutani is the Director of Programming of the Sundance Film Festival; she assumed that role in 2018. She began programming short films for the Festival in 2006, and became a feature film programmer in 2009, focusing on US and international fiction feature films, overseeing short film programming, and working on the Festival’s Offscreen panels and conversations. She was instrumental in creating Sundance Film Festival: Hong Kong.

She represents Sundance internationally, serving on juries, speaking on panels, and working to cultivate relationships with film commissions, industry, and artists around the world. Since 2014, she has also overseen a collaboration with the Berlinale’s European Film Market — housed within the Sundance Film Festival at EFM program — which has provided exposure and sales opportunities for Sundance films immediately after world-premiering at the Festival.

She started her programming career at Outfest Los Angeles, one of the world’s leading LGBT festivals, where she was the Artistic Director and the Director of Programming. She was a programmer for the Provincetown International Film Festival, has been a reader for Creative Capital, and was on the short film nominating committee for Cinema Eye Honors. Prior to her film festival work, Yutani was a film critic and freelance journalist focusing on independent film. She got her start in the industry as assistant to the director Gregg Araki.

Kyler Murray was the most-talked about collegiate football player. As Quarterback for the Oklahoma Sooners, Kyler won the 2018 Heisman Trophy and was named the 2018 Associated Press College Football Player of the Year. Following his Heisman-Trophy winning season, Kyler declared his intentions to enter the 2019 NFL Draft and forego a promising career in another sport–baseball–despite also being drafted into the MLB by the Oakland Athletics.

In April 2019, Kyler became the first-ever Asian American No. 1 draft pick in the history of the NFL joining the Arizona Cardinals. At the NFL Honors on February 1, Murray won the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award for his performance during his rookie season.

Over the last few years Lana Condor has burst onto the scene as one of the most in-demand leading ladies in the entertainment industry, making her star turn in the rom-com film “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” which became a global sensation for Netflix in the summer of 2018. Media outlets raved about Condor’s performance as Lara Jean Covey, stating: “Get ready to be charmed by Lana Condor” (Vanity Fair), “Condor is a ready-made star” (Vulture), “Lana Condor will charm you like no other” (W Magazine), “Lana Condor soars with such confidence and grace (Cosmopolitan) and “Condor’s Lara Jean anchors the entire film in what should be a star-making performance” (Buzzfeed) to name a few. Based on Jenny Han’s New York Times best-selling novel, Condor broke the mold as the first Asian American leading lady in a YA romantic comedy.

This year, Condor her role as Lara Jean in the highly anticipated sequel “To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You” opposite Noah Centineo and Jordan Fisher. The film is set to premiere internationally on Netflix on February 12, 2020 and the third film in the series, “To All the Boys: Always & Forever, Lara Jean” recently wrapped production with a premiere date TBA. Additionally, it was announced at the Cannes Film Festival (2019) that Condor will star opposite Brianna Hildebrand in the female buddy comedy “Girls Night” written by Cristina Kinon (Bravo’s “Adulting”) and to be directed by multi-hyphenate Marianna Palka (“G.L.O.W.”) Production is slated to start in spring 2020.

Condor’s film credits include appearing as Koyomi in James Cameron’s cyberpunk action feature film “Alita: Battle Angel” (Twentieth Century Fox) opposite Rosa Salazar and Mahershala Ali, Lionsgate’s “Patriot’s Day” alongside Mark Wahlberg and Lifetime’s “High School Lover.” Condor first broke onto the entertainment scene in 2016, making her feature film debut in Twentieth Century Fox’s “X-Men: Apocalypse,” starring as Jubilation Lee, AKA Jubilee alongside Jennifer Lawrence and James McAvoy. On the television front, she starred as Saya in SYFY’s drama series “Deadly Class” which followed a disillusioned teen recruited into a high school for assassins and was set against the backdrop of late 1980’s counterculture.

Originally from Can Tho, Vietnam, Condor was adopted by her parents at four months old (along with her brother, Arthur) and spent her early years in the Chicago area. As a child she lived in both Washington state and New York City, training in classical ballet in both locations. She took classes at multiple prestigious dance academies including The Joffrey School of Classical Ballet, The Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet, and The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. As a high school freshman living in New York, Condor took her first acting class and was hooked. As a child in Seoul, South Korea, Laura learned the basics of sewing, patternmaking, and sketching. Lilly Singh is an acclaimed YouTuber, comedian, television host and actress widely known as IISuperwomanII. In March 2019, NBC announced that Lilly would host a new late night talk show for the network, “A Little Late with Lilly Singh,” which will replace “Last Call with Carson Daly.” In 2017, Lilly was ranked tenth on the Forbes list of the world’s highest paid YouTube stars and first on the 2017 Forbes Top Influencers List in the entertainment category. Most recently, Wang released her second feature THE FAREWELL, which she both wrote and directed. The story follows Billi (Awkwafina), who returns to China after decades in America to join a household of relatives as they convene to say goodbye to the family’s elderly matriarch under the pretense of a shotgun wedding.

The film first premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival in the U.S. Dramatic Competition, earning Wang a nomination for the Grand Jury Prize. After its success at Sundance, A24 picked it up for worldwide distribution and released the film in select theaters on July 7. Since then, Wang’s sophomore feature has garnered a multitude of praises, including Variety naming Wang among its “Top Ten Directors To Watch in 2019”. The film recently won Best Feature at the 2020 Film Independent Spirit Awards, as well as a Best Actress Golden Globe for Awkwafina and a Best Supporting Actress Spirit Award for Zhao Shuzhen. Wang’s debut feature film, POSTHUMOUS, stars Brit Marling and Jack Huston. Released by The Orchard in 2014, the indie romantic comedy follows a struggling artist who finds himself accidentally reported dead. On behalf of the debut film, Wang was awarded with the Chaz and Roger Ebert Directing Fellowship at the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards.

Lydia X. Z. Brown (they/them) is a disability justice advocate, organizer, educator, attorney, strategist, and writer whose work has largely focused on violence against multiply-marginalized disabled people, especially institutionalization, incarceration, and policing. They co-lead the project on disability rights and algorithmic fairness at the Institute for Technology Law and Policy at Georgetown University Law Center, teach for Georgetown University’s disability studies program, and support the Autistic Women and Nonbinary Network’s policy and advocacy work. They are also founder and director of the Fund for Community Reparations for Autistic People of Color’s Interdependence, Survival, and Empowerment.

In 2018, NBC featured Lydia as one of 26 Asian Pacific American breakthrough leaders for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, and Amplifier featured Lydia as part of the We The Future campaign for youth activism. In 2015, they were named to Pacific Standard’s 30 Top Thinkers Under 30 list, and to Mic’s list of 50 impactful leaders, cultural influencers, and breakthrough innovators. Their work appears in numerous scholarly and community publications, and they have received many awards for their work, including from the Obama White House, the Society for Disability Studies, the American Association of People with Disabilities, the Washington Peace Center, the Disability Policy Consortium, and the National Council on Independent Living.

Manny Maceda is the worldwide managing partner of Bain & Company. He is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s strategy, team and operations across Bain’s global network of 50+ offices. Manny holds an MS in Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS in Chemical Engineering (magna cum laude) from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Bain, he worked with E.I. Du Pont de Nemours in the Engineering Plastics Group and with Unocal Corporation in Refinery Process Engineering.

Manny is a member of the Advisory Board of the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Mark Tatum was appointed NBA Deputy Commissioner and Chief Operating Officer on Feb. 1, 2014, following unanimous approval by the NBA Board of Governors. He joined the NBA in 1999 and is currently responsible for the NBA’s business operations, including leading the NBA’s international efforts. He also oversees the Global Partnerships, Marketing, Communications and Team Marketing and Business Operations departments in addition to the NBA G League.

In 2016, Mark was named to Forbes’ list of the Top 25 Most Influential Minorities in Sports. SportsBusiness Journal named him to its list of the 50 Most Influential People in Sports Business in 2014 and 2015. For three straight years (2006, 2007 and 2008), he was also honored by the SportsBusiness Journal with a Forty Under 40 Award, making him an entrant into the publication’s Forty Under 40 Hall of Fame.

Mark sits on numerous boards including USA Basketball, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, LA 2028 Summer Olympics, and the Harvard Business School Board of Dean’s Advisors. He is Chair of the Harvard Business School Club of New York and a member of the Executive Leadership Council, a national organization that empowers African-American corporate leaders to make impactful contributions.

He received a B.S. in Business Management from Cornell University and an MBA from Harvard University.

Michael Luo is the editor of NewYorker.com, overseeing The New Yorker’s digital presence across all platforms. He leads the magazine’s online editorial operation, which publishes a mixture of news reporting and commentary, cultural criticism, ideas and arguments, essays, and humor.

He joined the magazine as an investigations editor in November 2016 and was promoted to his current job several months later. He writes regularly about politics, religion, and other issues. Previously, Luo spent thirteen years at The New York Times, as a reporter and editor. He covered two presidential campaigns; wrote about the recession as a national correspondent; did stints in the Baghdad and Washington bureaus; and worked on investigative projects. As an editor, his reporters were finalists for the Pulitzer Prize four times and winners of the George Polk award.

Just before he left The Times, he wrote an open letter to a woman who had screamed at him and his family to go back to China that ran on the front page and helped spark a national conversation about Asian-Americans and race. In 2002, as a national writer at the Associated Press, he won a George Polk award and a Livingston Award for a series of articles on three poor, black inmates with intellectual disabilities in Alabama who were convicted of killing a baby that probably never existed. As a result of the series, two of the prisoners were freed.

Michelle Lee is the Editor in Chief of Allure. Since taking the helm in 2015, she has transformed Allure into an innovative, multi-faceted brand that champions diversity and challenges old-fashioned beauty standards. She was named Adweek’s Editor of the Year in 2017, while Allure was named Magazine of the Year for their groundbreaking covers, such as the July 2017 This Is American Beauty cover featuring model Halima Aden in a hijab and their September 2017 oath to ban the term “anti-aging” from their lexicon, which sparked global conversation about how we speak about aging.

Miky Lee (Mie Kyung Lee) is the Vice Chairwoman of the CJ Group. She is responsible for the overall strategic direction and management of the CJ Group’s entertainment and media division. Alongside her brother, Jay Lee, the Chairman of the CJ Corporation, Ms. Lee founded the entertainment and media division of CJ in 1994 after leading CJ to become one of the founding investors in DreamWorks SKG. Since then, CJ has built many influential companies in Korea’s entertainment and media industry, among them CJ CGV and CJ ENM, each of which holds the distinction of being the leader in its specialized industry. CJ CGV is the first and largest multiplex chain in Korea and CJ ENM is a global entertainment and retail company.

Prior to joining CJ, Ms. Lee served as the director of Samsung Electronics America, spearheading cultural and educational projects. She established the Parsons School of Design in Seoul and oversaw the formation of a branch of Pasadena’s Arts Center College of Design for Samsung.

Ms. Lee has been widely recognized for leading the largest entertainment group in Korea and for her global vision. She was selected as one of the Global Leaders for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum in 1997. During the 2006 Women’s World Awards, she became the first Asian woman to be awarded the World Business Award. She was also selected as one of the leading executives in the film industry by Variety in its Women’s Impact Report 2006. In 2007, she received the CEO of the Year Award from the Korean Management Association in recognition of her work managing one of the largest companies in Korea. In 2012 and 2014, she was on the Forbes Asia list of Asia’s 50 Power Businesswomen. In 2020, Ms. Lee participated as the executive producer of “Parasite” that won 4 Oscars for Best Picture, Directing, International Feature Film and Writing.

Ms. Lee has always had a deep interest in education and cross-cultural affairs. She earned her B.A. in 1981 at Seoul National University. She studied Chinese language and linguistics at Taiwan National University (1981-1983) and Japanese language at Japan’s Keio University (1984). In 1986, Ms. Lee received her M.A. in Asian studies from Harvard University. At Harvard, she served as a Korean language teaching fellow for three years. She also studied Chinese literature and history at Fudan University in China.

Miky Lee was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and is the first grandchild of B.C. Lee (Lee Byung-chul), the founder of CJ and the Samsung Group.

Naomi Osaka is one of the most explosive and influential tennis players of all-time. She is the first Asian player to hold the No.1 ranking in singles and the first Japanese player to win a Grand Slam. Her extraordinary tennis triumphs combined with her off-court success makes her tennis’ biggest cover star, most notably seen on the covers of Allure, GQ, Time, and ESPN.

In 2013, Osaka entered the WTA professional circuit as a rising star quickly gaining fans and media attention through her powerful serve and strong forehand. Two-Time World Champion, Olympic Bronze Medalist, and Four-Time U.S. Champion, Nathan Chen is a dominant star in figure skating.

Nathan, now 20, was born in Salt Lake City – the home of the 2002 Winter Olympics. He started skating because of the Olympic movement in his hometown, and he quickly became a multiple winner in the novice and junior ranks. At the 2017 U.S. Championships in Kansas City, Nathan ignited the crowd with a record five quadruple jumps in the free skate. His record-breaking score allowed him to become the youngest U.S. men’s champion in more than five decades.

At the 2018 U.S. Championships, Nathan followed up with another U.S. title, and earned a spot on the 2018 Olympic team. He was honored to be named to the team. Nathan was able to earn an Olympic Bronze medal in the team event. In the individual event, he started off the competition by faltering in the short program, placing 17th. However, Nathan did not give up. In the free skate, Nathan made Olympic history by becoming the first man to attempt six quads and land five cleanly. He placed first in the free skate with a score of 215.08, the highest in Olympic history, finishing 5th place overall. More importantly, Nathan learned valuable lessons from his first Olympic experience that he will remember throughout his competitive career. Three weeks later, Nathan competed at the 2018 World Championships in Milan. He placed first in both the short and free programs. He landed six quads in the free program, winning the 2018 world champion title.

At the 2019 World Figure Skating Championships in Saitama, Japan, Nathan broke ISU world records in both the free skate (216.02) and total points (323.42), beating out two-time Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan.  At the 2019 Grand Prix Finals, Nathan defeated Yuzuru Hanyu once again, setting up one of the biggest rivalries in skating. 2020 began with his fourth consecutive U.S. title, the first since Brian Boitano in 1988.

Nathan is most at home in an ice rink, and it makes sense given his family’s passion for anything on ice. Not only has he become a talented figure skater but he also loved playing hockey with his brothers. Nathan, the youngest of five children, started skating at the age of three. Nathan trained in ballet at renowned Ballet West Academy. Ultimately, he decided to focus on figure skating, and he relocated to Southern California to train with Rafael Arutunian.

At the end of 2019, Nathan was named the 2019 Team USA Male Olympic Athlete of the Year and was also included in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list.

Off the ice, Nathan enjoys playing guitar, biking and long boarding along the California beaches. Nathan is currently a sophomore at Yale University. And typical of Nathan to challenge himself, he is taking a full course load while competing and training as he is aiming to return to the 2022 Olympics in Beijing.

Previously, Khemlani served as Hearst’s chief creative officer, where he worked across the company’s global brands and with its creative teams, managers and group heads to innovate the best possible products, content offerings and user experiences on every platform. Before that, he served as executive vice president and deputy group head of Hearst Entertainment & Syndication, where he focused on growing the company’s nonfiction television production activities. Bennack, Jr., and he managed the promotion and coordination of digital content transformation across the company.

Prior to Hearst, Khemlani was vice president and general manager of Yahoo! News & Information as well as head of Yahoo! Originals. In this position, he managed the business and products of Yahoo! News, Tech, Weather and Education, original video productions across the Yahoo! Media group and the editorial programming for Yahoo! Finance, as executive editor.

From 1998 to 2006, Khemlani was a producer for CBS News’ 60 Minutes and 60 Minutes II. Prior to that, he was at ABC News, where he produced segments for Nightline, Good Morning America, Peter Jennings Reporting and ABC News Specials. He has won numerous awards, including a 2004 Emmy nomination for business reporting, a 2003 Emmy nomination for best interview, the 2002 Edward R. Murrow Award for investigative reporting and a DuPont Award in 1995 for his participation in ABC News’ coverage of the war in Bosnia.

Khemlani began his career as a newspaper reporter, stringing for The New York Times and The Post-Standard in Syracuse, New York, while in college. Khemlani holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University, where he graduated with honors, and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Cornell University, where he was the editor-in-chief of The Cornell Daily Sun.

With two decades of experience in the motion picture industry, Nina has gained a positive reputation for having an in-depth knowledge of film financing, creative and physical producing, and a knack for discovering talent, like that of Ryan Coogler (Marvel’s Black Panther), whose first film, Fruitvale Station (2013) was produced by Nina and her producing partner, Forest Whitaker.

She is fluent in Mandarin, Chinese, and received her graduate degree in Entertainment Management from the Annenberg School at the University of Southern California.

Parag Agrawal has risen in the ranks over the past 8 years at Twitter and is now the CTO. As CTO, his responsibilities include leading efforts to increase the relevance of tweets in Twitter users’ timelines and preventing abuse on the social network using AI. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay (IIT-B) and his PhD in computer science from Stanford University. Prior to Twitter, Parag held various research roles at Microsoft, Yahoo!, & AT&T Labs.

Vijaya Gadde is the global lead for legal, policy, and trust and safety at Twitter. At Twitter, Gadde has made privacy and opposing the censorship of twitter internationally policy priorities, notably by filing suit to oppose the 2014 Turkish ban of Twitter. She has also announced Twitter’s hiring of researchers to study the health of discourse on the platform.

Before joining Twitter in 2011, Gadde spent nearly a decade working at the Silicon Valley law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, then spent time as Senior Director in the legal department of Silicon Valley technology firm Juniper Networks.While at WSGR, Gadde worked on the 2006 $4.1 billion McClatchy Co.-Knight Ridder Inc. acquisition and acted as counsel to the New York Stock Exchange’s Proxy Working Group and Committee on Corporate Governance.

Vijaya was originally born in India, but eventually moved to Beaumont, Texas at the age of 3. She received a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and her JD from New York University’s law school.

Kayvon Beykpour is the Head of Product at Twitter where he oversees all of the social platform’s product vision, innovation, design, development, & execution.

Kayvon graduated from Stanford in 2010 and while there, he interned at Autodesk, did freelance web development and strategy, and cofounded Terriblyclever Design. After Terriblyclever was bought by Blackboard, Beykpour joined their team as general manager of the mobile division and also served as a senior executive of Blackboard Mobile. After he left, he cofounded Periscope, an app that allows anyone to capture or watch a live video broadcast. It was bought by Twitter before it even launched—and garnered more than 1 million people registered in the first 10 days after the official launch.

As Creative Director and Co-Founder of his eponymous label, Phillip Lim sits at the helm of a now 14-year-old pioneering modern luxury brand.

Lim was born in Thailand in 1973 to Chinese immigrants who fled to Southern California to escape Cambodia’s civil war. Upon arriving in California, his mother found work as a seamstress and his father became a professional poker player. Lim studied finance at California State University Long Beach, but after 3 years, switched his focus to a degree in home economics.

A weekend job at Barneys Beverly Hills led to an internship with Katayone Adeli, and eventually, a position on her design team. When Adeli relocated to New York, Lim remained in Los Angeles and co-founded his first label, Development. After four years at Development, Lim relocated to New York to launch 3.1 Phillip Lim, his most personal collection to date, with business partner and friend, Wen Zhou.

Lim is recognized as one of the most talented and successful young American designers and is the recipient of several prestigious industry honors including the Fashion Group International’s Women’s Designer ‘Rising Star’ Award, the CFDA Swarovski Award for Womenswear, the CFDA Swarovski Award for Menswear, and the CFDA Award for Accessories Designer of the Year.

Wen Zhou serves as President and CEO of 3.1 Phillip Lim, the company she co-founded together with Phillip Lim in 2005. Zhou spent her childhood in Ningbo, China, and arrived in New York City at the age of 12, settling with her family in Chinatown. She spoke no English, but possessed a challenger spirit, a love of fashion handed down from her mother – a seamstress – and an entrepreneurial drive to succeed, all of which informed her future success as a business leader and entrepreneur.

By the age of 26, she had founded a fabric selling company and an offshore clothing production company. Phillip Sun is a Partner at WME in the agency’s Talent department. In his role, he works with a diverse roster of clients including Riz Ahmed, Henry Cavill, Gemma Chan, Idris Elba, Donald Glover, Lance Gross, Michael B. Jordan, Yifei Liu, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Rihanna, Naomi Scott, Sullivan Stapleton and Ben O’Toole.

Radhika Jones is Editor-in-Chief of Vanity Fair magazine and the first person of color to be named to the post since the magazine was founded in 1913. She formerly served as the editorial director for the books department at The New York Times, deputy managing editor of TIME (where she managed the TIME 100 and Person of the Year efforts), and the managing editor of The Paris Review. A cultural omnivore who’s deeply versed in books, art, politics, and more, Radhika holds a B.A. from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia.

Actor, writer, director and producer Randall Park is the beloved star of ABC’s FRESH OFF THE BOAT. Having wrapped its sixth and final season, it is the first broadcast comedy in over 20 years featuring an all Asian American cast. He also co-wrote, produced and starred in the critically-acclaimed Netflix romantic comedy ALWAYS BE MY MAYBE with his good friend Ali Wong. Randall is also known for playing two pre-existing Asian American comic book characters Detective Jimmy Woo and Dr. Stephen Shin, in Marvel’s ANT-MAN AND THE WASP and DC’s blockbuster hit AQUAMAN, both in the same year.

Throughout his career, Randall has played a wide range of roles in tv and film such as Minnesota Governor Danny Chung in VEEP, Kim Jong Un in the controversial Seth Rogen film THE INTERVIEW, and internet favorite Asian Jim in THE OFFICE. Randall, along with producer Hieu Ho and writer Michael Golamco (his college friends from UCLA), has formed IMMINENT COLLISION, a production company focused on creating comedy-forward stories from an Asian American perspective. In a competitive situation, they landed a rich producing deal at 20th Century FOX Studios. Randall can next be seen reprising his role as Jimmy Woo in the upcoming Disney Plus series WANDAVISION and alongside Ed Helms in NBC’s primetime storytelling series TRUE STORY.

Randall received his BA in English, Creative Writing, and completed the Masters Program in Asian American Studies at UCLA. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife Jae Suh Park and their daughter Ruby.

Rebecca Ford is the senior awards editor at The Hollywood Reporter, where she oversees all of the magazine’s awards-related coverage, including hundreds of stories during Emmy and Oscar season. She also works on some of the outlet’s most high-profile features and packages, including the annual Next Gen issue and THR’s roundtable series, “Close Up with the Hollywood Reporter.” Along with helping to launch The Hollywood Reporter’s Empowerment in Entertainment issue in 2019, which focuses on inclusion in the industry, she has written cover stories on Crazy Rich Asians, Mulan and Awkwafina. Previously, she spent five years as a film reporter at The Hollywood Reporter, which she joined in 2011.

Ronny Chieng is a stand up comedian, actor and Correspondent on the Daily Show with Trevor Noah. He was also one of the stars of the worldwide hit movie Crazy Rich Asians and has appeared on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the New York Times, and GQ.

Ronny co-wrote and starred in his own sitcom “Ronny Chieng: International Student” which is currently airing on Comedy Central and Netflix. Born and raised in Ottawa, Canada, Sandra started ballet lessons at the age of four and appeared in her first play The Canada Goose at the age of ten. She started working professionally at age sixteen in television, theatre and commercials. After three years at the prestigious National Theatre School of Canada, she beat out more than 1,000 other hopefuls and landed the coveted title role in the CBC telefilm “The Diary of Evelyn Lau” based on the true story of a tortured poet who ran away from home and ended up a drug addict and prostitute on the streets of Vancouver. Her performance brought her a Gemini (Canada’s Emmy) nomination for Best Actress and the 1994 Cannes FIPA d’Or for Best Actress.

Oh currently stars in BBC America’s critically acclaimed smash hit “Killing Eve” for which she won a historic Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series and 2018 and 2019 Emmy Award nominations for Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She has also received Critics’ Choice and SAG Award nominations for this role. Additionally, she hosted the 2019 Golden Globe Awards alongside Andy Samberg. The 3rd season of “Killing Eve” is set to premiere is set to premiere this spring, and ahead of the premiere BBC America has renewed the show for season 4.

Sandra won a Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award for her role as Dr. Cristina Yang on the hit ABC series “Grey’s Anatomy,” as well she received two Emmy Award nominations. Previously, Sandra starred in the enormously successful Fox Searchlight feature film Sideways, for which she won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

On stage, Sandra starred in Death and the Maiden at the Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago and completed a sold-out run of the World Premiere of Satellites at New York’s Public Theater for playwright Diana Son. She won her first Genie Award (Canada’s Oscar) for her leading role in Double Happiness, a bittersweet coming-of-age story about a young Chinese-Canadian woman – a performance that brought her much acclaim and secured her place as one of Canada’s rising young film stars. Sandra was previously seen in the British production of Thorne: Scaredy Cat. Her additional feature film credits include Tammy, Defendor, Blindness, The Night Listener, For Your Consideration, Three Needles, Long Life Happiness and Prosperity, Under the Tuscan Sun, Sorry Haters, Ramona and Beezus, Rick, Bean, Guinevere, The Red Violin, Waking the Dead, The Princess Diaries, and Pay or Play. She also starred in Michael Radford’s improvised Dancing at the Blue Iguana, a bleak and raw view of life in a strip club in Los Angeles. Her performance in Last Night, a Canadian film about the end of the world, led to her winning a second Genie Award for Best Actress in 1999. Most recently, she starred in “Catfight” opposite Anne Heche, and the animated feature “Window Horses”.

She moved to Los Angeles in 1996 to begin the first of six seasons as Rita Wu, the smart and sassy assistant on the HBO comedy series “Arliss,” for which she won the final Cable Ace award for Best Actress in a Comedy. Her additional television credits include HBO’s “Six Feet Under,” and Showtime’s “Further Tales of the City.”

Satya Nadella is Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft. Before being named CEO in February 2014, Nadella held leadership roles in both enterprise and consumer businesses across the company.

Joining Microsoft in 1992, he quickly became known as a leader who could span a breadth of technologies and businesses to transform some of Microsoft’s biggest product offerings.

Most recently, Nadella was executive vice president of Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise group. In this role he led the transformation to the cloud infrastructure and services business, which outperformed the market and took share from competition. Previously, Nadella led R&D for the Online Services Division and was vice president of the Microsoft Business Division. Before joining Microsoft, Nadella was a member of the technology staff at Sun Microsystems.

Originally from Hyderabad, India, Nadella lives in Bellevue, Washington. He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Mangalore University, a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago. Prior to joining IVP, Somesh was an Analyst in the Corporate Finance Division of Credit Suisse’s Technology Investment Banking Group. Somesh earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.

Steven Yeun is an actor and producer. Most recently, he was in Lee Chang-Dong’s film, BURNING, to which he garnered much critical acclaim. Alongside A24 and Plan B, Steven serves as executive producer on his next project, MINARI, in which he stars as a father who moves his family to Arkansas in the 1980s to start a farm and hopefully a better life. MINARI was directed by Isaac Chung and won the Grand Jury Prize in addition to the Audience Award at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. Steven also finished filming Scott Rudin’s film THE HUMANS recently in which he stars opposite Richard Jenkins, Beanie Feldstein, and Amy Schumer. Sun Choe is the Chief Product Officer at lululemon athletica inc., an athletic apparel company, where she leads the merchandising and design teams for the company. Ms. Choe joined lululemon in 2016 as the Senior Vice President, Global Merchandising and has been instrumental in elevating merchandising capabilities, partnering with design leadership and innovation to deliver the lululemon vision to guests through best in class product assortments. Prior to joining lululemon, Ms. Choe served as Chief Global Product Merchant at Marc Jacobs and worked in multi-channel merchandising at brands including West Elm, Madewell, Urban Outfitters. Sundar Pichai is CEO of Google Inc. Prior to ascending to CEO, Sundar is credited with leading the product management and innovation efforts of Google’s client software, most notably Google Chrome, Chrome OS, and Google Drive that he shepherded into global prominence. He also oversaw Android, the world’s largest mobile operating system.

A former assistant to President Barack Obama, executive director of the White House Council on Women and Girls, and chief of staff to First Lady Michelle Obama, Tina has worked for decades to advance gender equality, particularly for working women. At the White House, Tina spearheaded the first-ever White House Summit on Working Families and helped form the White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault.

Valerie Wong Fountain is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, and she is based in the firm’s New York office. Valerie serves as Head of Morgan Stanley’s Signature Access Platform, which includes responsibility for Single Family Office Advisory and Lifestyle Advisory. She leads the Single Family Office Advisory team, which provides consultative services to clients who maintain, or are considering establishing, a single family office. Valerie also oversees Lifestyle Advisory, which delivers an extensive range of specialized resources to address the unique needs and aspirations of ultra high net worth families.

Valerie serves on the First Tee of Metropolitan New York Executive Committee and Board of Directors and the Penn Golf Alumni Board, where she co-chairs the Mentoring Committee. She is an active participant in and leader of Morgan Stanley-related community affairs and philanthropic efforts. Vanessa Dew co-founded Health-Ade Kombucha in 2012 alongside her best friends and husband-and-wife team, Justin and Daina Trout. As Chief Sales Officer, Dew brings an invaluable knowledge of sales and marketing amassed from years spent at a major pharmaceutical company before leaving to help start Health-Ade Kombucha. Through her expertise in channel penetration and people management, Dew has led Health-Ade’s sales team to boost availability in key channels and markets, while cultivating the Health-Ade brand as a whole. In addition to Broadway, Vivek is a pioneering producer in the world of site-specific, tech-based, and immersive theatre. Vivek is an investor who served on the Board of Directors for Valiant Entertainment, a multi-platform company that boasts the third largest universe of comic book characters, has been hailed by the New York Times as “Marvel 2.0” and has a 5-film deal with Sony Pictures.

Prior to founding TEG and online music education/empowerment company StarPolish, Vivek held a number of major label music-industry positions and has worked with artists covering the entire musical spectrum from Bruce Springsteen to Britney Spears.

Among many charitable pursuits, Vivek is the Co-Founder of Musicians On Call, a nonprofit organization that uses music and entertainment to complement the healing process.

As President of Warner Bros.’ DC-Based Films, Walter Hamada oversees production of the DC Extended Universe and other DC-based films. Yao King is Founder and Chief Investment Officer of YKAM, a multi-strategy hedge fund based in New York City. He was most recently Global Head of Program Trading, Americas Head of PT, ETFs, and CRB Trading, and Managing Director at Deutsche Bank where he oversaw one of the firm’s largest businesses and a multi-billion dollar global book of risk. Previously, he spent time in derivatives trading and as Head of North America Risk Program Trading, where he revolutionized the risk-taking capabilities and generated record profits for his businesses. Before his tenure at Deutsche Bank, he was Head of ETF Trading at Citadel Securities.

Yao’s philanthropic interests extend from supporting the arts to the underprivileged to social issues and representation. Most recently, he built and led the #GoldOpen movement on the East Coast, a venture of Gold House that supports diversity in media both in front of and behind the camera; in the last year, alone, #GoldOpen has brought an audience of tens of thousands ranging from underprivileged students to working professionals to seniors into their local theaters to see their stories told while supporting critical and diverse films from their communities like The Farewell, Parasite, and Just Mercy.

Yao studied Materials Science and Biomedical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was awarded the Karl Taylor Compton Prize, the highest award presented by the Institute in recognition of excellent achievements in citizenship and devotion to the welfare of the MIT community, before taking a trading role at Morgan Stanley. He also attended the French Culinary Institute, wrote the restaurant review for his school paper, and in his spare time, enjoys cooking and learning about food history and culinary technique.
